On February 12th 2015 morning, using effectively the funding from “Women from all over the country protect the sovereignty of the East Sea together” plan, the High Command of Coast Guard and James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company signed the contract to build new high-speed patrol boats MS-50S.

In this meeting, representatives from the High Command of Coast Guard are Major General Mr. Nguyen Van Tuong, the Deputy Minister of High Command and other departments of Coast Guard force. Representatives from the James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company are Mr. Nguyen Kim Son – the Chairman and director, Mrs. NguyenThi Minh Huong – the era of Vietnam Women’s Union, representative of Military Women Department.

This is the support and investment, technique provision from the Communist Party, the Government so that the Coast Guard can develop day by day, quickly becomes a professional and modernized force, complete the government’s missions successfully.

MS-50S Boat is improved high-speed patrol boat which is made suitable for patrol mission function. The boat is built with the new MS-50 high-speed patrol boat technique and it can reach maximum speed of 30-35 mile/hour, maximum capacity of 16 people.
