The minister asked Vietnamese register to publish the confirmation document from the naval force and International register company CS LLloyd on PPC. In front of the national congress, on June 12th afternoon, answering the question from delegate Le Thi Cong (Ba ria – Vung Tau) about the registration of new boat material PPC which had lasted for years without completion, damaged the business, The minister of Transportation Dinh La Thang replied and promised to have the result in June 2015.

In terms of this issue, this morning (17/6) the Minister of Transportation Dinh La Thang held the meeting solving problems about the registration of PPC for James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company. This meeting includes of representatives of the Ministry of  Science and Technology; the Deputy Ministers Nguyen Van Cong and Le Dinh Tho; Ministry of Transportation ; the High Command of Navy ; the Department of Science and Technology, Vietnamese Register; The Division of Vietnam’s Boat Technology; James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company,..

In this meeting, the Minister Dinh La Thang strictly criticized the departments, individuals which concern this matter, creating damage for business.

In terms of PPC registration, the Minister said: “Tomorrow (18/6), Vietnamese Register has to confirm the registration from the Navy force and International register company CS Lloyd (Czech Republic) in document”.

The minister emphasized “The law allows to approving the result without a standard as long as they have the rights according to the law, Vietnamese Register therefore has to confirm the registration of DN”.

The minister continued: “Nowadays, the law does not forbid building boats with new material including PPC. The law allows us to build boats with any kind of material as long as it meets the safety demand. The fact that DN builds boats with new material is a legitimate need which should receive the support from the Government”.
