James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company has applied its new material PPC (Copolymer Polypropylene Polystone) from Europe on designing and building boats, canoes, floating constructions, etc.

PPC is a new invention among scientists and technology professionals from Czech Republic and Germany, used to build boats, canoes, floating constructions (heat-sealing technology).

By the end of 2014, James Boat Technology Joint Stock Company had successfully handed over the High Command of Coast Guard the high-speed boat MS-50. The boat is 13,66m wide, and it has the maximum capacity of 16 seats and maximum speed of 30-15 miles/hour. The MS-50 was then given to the High Command of Coast Guard no.1 – the department takes charge of receiving, managing, operating the boat in order to protect our sovereignty.
 

Some advantages of PPC are: the specific weight is smaller than water (0.91/dm3); The boat cannot be turned over or sank thanks to the 2 - layer hull and bottom  therefore it’s extremely safe for passengers and goods;  The specific weight of hull is light so it will reduce the engine power; The boat is enduring, anti-puncturing, energy saving from 20%  to 40% ,and it has small tidal friction, reduces hydraulic consistency; you must not have to spend much money on maintenance since PPC is anti-corrosion; it’s insulted and noise-proof , it can reduce engine noise; Easy to fix with specialized equipment; The color is already in the material, it doesn’t need painting and fade; it’s anti acid and lubricant; Long service life and color stability (more than 30 years mostly based on environment; 100% recyclable without harming the environment; The boat has nice look designed by Vietnamese engineers and European professionals. Another advantage is that building boat with PPC costs less than with Composite steel, and also takes less building time.

The Chairman of Science - Technology Department and Vietnamese domestic waterway Department (Ministry of Transportation) visited the factory.

PPC is applied to build boats and floating constructions in some countries in Europe. James Boat is now making some products serving the nation’s security and safety such as: high-speed patrol boat of the High Command of Vietnam Coast Guard ; Vingroup Commercial Boat; Coast Guard Department  harbor for boats and canoes; Tuan Chau –Ha Long harbor for boats ; Cau Mong harbor ( Ho Chi Minh City ) … Moreover, James Boat has received the exclusive certificate from CS Lloyd register department for building well-designed canoes, boats according to European Union standard (EU) . Consequently, James Boat’s products are legally exported into EU and America.

Mr. Tran Van Tung – has been approved by foreign register department to be built boats. So domestic departments had to quickly made up standard and sent a group to examine boats built with this material. Because as a country that has more than 3200km long of seashore, Vietnam has high demand of boats and vehicles that will boost the economy as well as protect the nation’s sovereignty and safety.
